Do you help with rent?

While we would love to help, we are not currently able to help with rent right now. We are the only Food & Resource Center in Oklahoma that allows you to come get groceries every 7 days. With that expense lowering, that could help with your rent budget.

We can do a one time help of $100. We have a very limited amount of funds each month for utilities, so this is not a guarantee for assistance.

Requirements: Latest Utility Bill | Government Issued Photo ID | Proof of Hardship (medical procedures, loss of job, etc.)

Just show up during our open hours, and we will get you signed up and through the grocery line! Please have all names and birthdates of everyone in your household. It is helpful to have your ID and latest utility bill.

Short answer: No. While we would love to help in this way as we have in the past, there are reasons beyond our control as to why we cannot do this anymore. Thank you for your understanding and we pray your situation gets better soon.

We can only serve those who live in Oklahoma. If you need help finding a food bank in Texas, please check out https://ntfb.org/

Food Donations

  • Donations must be unopened and unexpired.

  • Food must not be left outside the building. This is not a sanitary practice and attracts unwanted pests toward our building. Should you leave it outside for any length of time, we will be unable to use your donation, and it will have to be thrown out.

  • Hours to donate: (Not to be confused with hours we are open to the public.)
If none of these hours work for donations, please email hello@handsofhopeok.org to arrange a different time to drop off or arrange for us to pick up.
